General terms and conditions
at The Clash Of Composite vs Ceramic Symposium,

organized by "DR RUSEV EDUCATION" EOOD

1. Introduction

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the Organizer and the Participants who are part of the symposium “The Clash Of Composite vs Ceramic” (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”). The Event is organized by “DR RUSSEVEDUCATION” EOOD and will be held in person in 2025 on November 1-2, unless other circumstances require a change in the manner of holding. The Organizer is the holder of all rights related to the intellectual property of the graphic materials on the site such as logos, banners, pictures and videos and is the holder of the copyright on all text content on the site and generated during the event, if such is created that is not the property of third parties within the meaning of the Copyright and Related Rights Act (CRA).

1.2. The General Terms and Conditions are published on the following website: https://www.ruseveducation.com/

1.3. By participating in the symposium and visiting the website, users accept and undertake to comply with these General Terms and Conditions, including by registering on the website and/or by registering online for participation in the event on the platforms used by the Organizer.

1.4. The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to determine the terms and conditions for using the participation platform offered by the publisher and available to everyone, as well as the conditions under which third parties may participate in the Event.

1.5. All relationships between the Organizer and the Participants are based on these General Terms and Conditions within the framework of the legislation applicable in the Republic of Bulgaria.

2. Definitions for the interpretation and application of the General Terms and Conditions:

"Organizer" - "DR RUSEV EDUCATION" EOOD, UIC: 208124678; The Organizer should also be understood to include all employees of “DR RUSEV EDUCATION” EOOD, the manager of the Company, as well as third parties, if explicitly indicated as such, including security guards, service and support organizational personnel.

“Participant” – any natural/legal person who has used the services of the Organizer by filling out an online registration form, available on the website: serpconf.com/bg/ and/or by purchasing a ticket and paying the fee provided for this.

“Registration” is an action of providing data by the Participant or a third party in the registration form electronically or otherwise, including by email and telephone, by virtue of which “DR RUSEV EDUCATION” EOOD and the Participant conclude a distance contract.

"Website" - a collection of related web pages, photos, video content, texts and/or other digital resources that are accessible under a common unified address in an IP-based network: https://www.ruseveducation.com/, which provides Participants with the opportunity to receive official information about the Event and online registration.

"Event" - the symposium "The Clash Of Composites vs Ceramic", as described in the Introduction to these General Terms and Conditions.

3. Entry into force and binding force of the General Terms and Conditions

3.1. These General Terms and Conditions are binding on the Organizer "DR RUSEV EDUCATION" EOOD of the event "The Clash Of Composites vs Ceramic" - on the one hand, and the persons who have purchased a ticket to participate in the Event - on the other hand, as well as users and visitors to the conference and the site who will not participate in the Event. The General Terms and Conditions come into force and are binding on the Participant from the moment the Participant has received the ticket for participation. The Organizer's obligations in connection with the administration of the Participants in the event and its conduct arise from the moment of receipt of payment for the registration made - according to the conditions specifically specified in the event announcement. In case of registration on behalf of a legal entity, the legal entity is a party to the contract.

3.2. By purchasing the ticket for participation in the event, the Participant confirms and accepts these General Terms and Conditions for registration and the terms agreed therein for holding the event, as well as the payment, preliminary program, conditions for cancellation of registrations and change of program and participants, if any are imposed. These conditions oblige the Organizer to ensure the presence of the Participant at the specific event requested by him according to the data provided by him through the registration form for the name of the participant or the persons specified by him, date of the event and after payment has been made and received by us.

3.3. The main obligation of the Participant is to pay the fee for the event in the amounts and terms specified by the Organizer according to the specific packages and to comply with the order and program of the event. The Participant's place online or in person at the event will be provided only after confirmation of payment for the relevant package, in view of the conditions specified on the event website. After administration of payment, participants will receive a generated unique code, along with instructions for participation in the conference, which will give them access to the content of the same and the opportunity to participate.

 

4. Online registration and purchase of a ticket for access to the conference. Rules for participation in the Event. Payment of the ticket price for the event.

4.1. In order to register and/or sign up for participation in the event, Participants must visit the website and use the registration platform, through which they register by filling in the relevant data and purchase a ticket for participation through the electronic payment platform "Stripe" or Bank transfer.

4.2. Payment should be made in the following ways:

4.2.1. By bank transfer, Participants should pay the price of the ticket for access to the conference (symposium) to the following account:

Basis of payment: the order code that you will receive after completing this step of your registration (example: order No. 2xhk-scsl-s3g)

The Participant should make the payment by bank transfer within 2 working days, counting from the date on which the order code was received and the same was completed with the issuance of the order code on the Organizer's website. Participants should keep in mind that otherwise their tickets will be automatically canceled.

4.2.2 After receiving the above-mentioned order code via the electronic payment platform "Stripe"

4.3. Purchasing a ticket is expressed in filling in data and paying the participation fee via the Stripe or Bank Transfer electronic channel, according to the payment terms and conditions and in compliance with the company's system of rules and obligations, ensuring the security of payments and the processing of personal data. The Organizer is not responsible for the specified personal data in the payment verification process and the relationships that the respective participant enters into when using the platform and the relationships arising from this, as the Participant agrees that the Organizer uses the services of a third party - provider and has no claims to the Organizer regarding monetary or other types of transactions before, during or after registration on the respective or other similar platforms.

4.4. After registration, in compliance with the specified conditions and steps, the Organizer provides the participant with a ticket, which is a digitally generated file - a ticket with access data to the event hall, using the email address specified by the Participant in the registration process. In order for this digital ticket to be activated and to serve as a pass to the event, the ticket must be activated, which is done by paying the amount (participation fee) of the selected ticket indicated on the site and on the ticket itself, via Bank Transfer, following the instructions for making the payment described on the site, on the digital ticket and received by email within the terms specified in 4.2.1. (two business days from receiving the order code and the same has ended with the issuance of the order code on the Organizer's website).

4.5. After providing an email address and paying the due fee, individuals should receive a confirmation email for participation, a digitally generated file - a ticket for access to the conference, as well as additional information about the event and the conditions under which the respective ticket must be used.

4.6. Access to the hall where the Event will be held is carried out by registering at the Event venue with the name and surname through which registration and provision of the digital ticket was made.

4.7. The provided ticket is confidential information and the participant should use it only in relation to his/her participation in the platform and the same should not be transferred to third parties without the express notification and approval of the Organizer through the information channels, in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions and carried out through the relevant communication channels.

4.8. The ticket to the platform can only be used by the participant to whom it has been provided.

4.9. The Organizer is not responsible if the email address provided or any other data during the registration process is invalid and for this reason access to the event cannot be provided, despite the duly made payment. In the event that the confirmation of registration and/or registration for participation in the event is delayed for more than two business days, the Participants should notify the Organizer at the following email address: dr.rusev.education@gmail.com.

4.10. The Organizer reserves the right not to serve Participants who have entered incorrect, incorrect or insufficient data. Participants who enter clearly and systematically incorrect data will be deleted from the system and their access may be blocked.

4.11. By filling out the online participation form and/or making an online registration for participation in the event, the Participant declares that:

• As an individual, he is an adult citizen of the Republic of Bulgaria or another country;

• As a legal entity, he is registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria or another country and the data he provides are true;

• He voluntarily and freely provides the Organizer with information about himself, which constitutes personal data within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act (name, surname, email address) and gives his consent for these personal data to be processed by the Organizer in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Personal Data Protection Act, for the following purposes: online registration/registration for participation in the event, creation of general statistics for the event, for accounting purposes when issuing an invoice (only when the Participant - an individual has requested the issuance of an invoice), as well as for the Organizer's marketing purposes;

• During the Event, in his/her relationship with other participants, he/she will observe the morality and good manners accepted in society, the technical and organizational rules of the Organizer for holding the Event, as well as the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, and will refrain from any actions that may infringe on the rights and dignity of third parties.

5. Participant Rights

Participation in the Event gives the following rights to the participants, namely:
5.1. To familiarize himself/herself with the program of the Event;

5.2. To ask questions during the Event;

5.3. To subscribe to an email newsletter;

5.4. To physically attend the Event;

5.5. To leave recommendations after the end of the symposium;

5.6. To see the sponsors of the event. In case of failure to comply with morality and good manners for behavior during the Event, the Organizer has the right to unilaterally terminate relations with the Participant regarding his participation in the Event, without any material responsibilities arising from this for the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right, at its discretion, to not admit to the Event a Participant for whom information has been received about inappropriate behavior towards other participants.

6. Possibility to subscribe to the newsletter:

6.1. After the participant declares that he/she is familiar with and agrees with the terms of subscription to the newsletter and the Personal Data Protection Policy, voluntarily provides his/her personal data and gives his/her explicit consent for them to be processed by “DR RUSEV EDUCATION” EOOD, the participant can confirm the possibility of receiving all current news related to the Event, as well as other events and activities of “DR RUSEV EDUCATION” EOOD.

6.2. The participant has the opportunity at any time to opt out of receiving the newsletter by using the opt-out option provided at the end of each newsletter.

6.3. The participant has the opportunity at any time to object to the processing of his/her personal data by sending an email to: dr.rusev.education@gmail.com

 

7. Participation fees and payment method

7.1. Registration and/or signing up for the event are considered valid only after purchasing a ticket via the Stripe electronic channel or Bank transfer:

7.1.1. After payment via the Stripe electronic channel or Bank transfer;

7.1.2. After receiving a confirmation email with ticket details and additional information about the event.

7.2. The amount of the participation fee for each specific event is specified in advance at https://www.ruseveducation.com/

7.3. Payment for the ticket is made via the Stripe electronic channel or Bank transfer, according to the payment terms and conditions and in compliance with the company's system of rules and obligations, ensuring the security of payments and the processing of personal data. The Organizer is not responsible for the specified personal data in the payment verification process and the relationships entered into by the respective participant when using the platform and the relationships arising from it, as the Participant agrees that the Organizer uses the services of a third party - provider and has no claims to the Organizer regarding monetary or other types of transactions before, during or after registration on the respective or other similar platforms.

7.4. The announced fees in the registration form are excluding VAT.

7.5. The Participant has the right to cancel the purchased ticket within 14 days from the date of purchase of the ticket. In this case, the Participant is obliged to notify the Organizer electronically at the email address: dr.rusev.education@gmail.com. In case the 14-day period is met, the Organizer will refund 100% of the amount paid to the Participant via the Stripe electronic channel or Bank transfer.

8. Protection of personal data.

8.1. The Organizer informs the Participant that:

• personal data are collected for the purposes specified in the General Terms and Conditions and are processed lawfully and in good faith, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679;

• his personal data are stored on paper and/or electronic media only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes specified in these General Terms and Conditions, and for data related to issuing invoices - for the time, in accordance with Bulgarian legislation;

• his personal data will not be provided to third parties, unless this is required in fulfillment of the Organizer's obligations as a personal data administrator, in accordance with Bulgarian legislation;

• he has the right to access his personal data at any time, including to request their correction, deletion, and to withdraw the consent given by him for their processing.

8.2. The Organizer is obliged to take the necessary care to protect the Participant's information, which became known to it in connection with the registration of the Participants for participation in the Event, as well as not to provide the collected information to third parties, except in the case of force majeure, accidental event or malicious actions of third parties.

8.3. The Organizer reserves the right to provide the name and company (without other data) of each participant for the production of materials related to the event (gifts and others).

 

9. Intellectual Property.

9.1. All copyrights and other rights in the materials provided for the purposes of the event are the property of the Organizer or the copyright holders. Participants have the right to use these materials only for personal use. Copying and distributing these materials is possible only with the express permission of the Organizer or the holder of the relevant copyrights.

10. Inability to attend. Replacement of Participant.

10.1. In case of inability to participate, the Participant is obliged to notify the Organizer electronically at the email address dr.rusev.education@gmail.com, no later than 15 calendar days before the date of the event. After receiving the email, the Organizers will refund 100% of the amount paid to the Participant.

10.2. A validly registered and issued ticket may be used by a third party only after explicitly notifying the Organizer via the relevant communication channel and receiving confirmation, which may also be accompanied by a newly generated code. If no response is received within 2 (two) business days after informing the Organizer, the request to replace a participant will be considered rejected.

11. Limitation of liability.

11.1. The Organizer is not responsible for refunding the amounts already paid to the Participants:

11.1.2. In the event of force majeure circumstances such as war, earthquake, economic hardship, natural disasters, war, threat of a terrorist act, extraordinary epidemiological situation and other circumstances arising from reasons beyond the Organizer's control that prevent the Event from taking place;

11.1.3. In the event of notification to the Organizer outside the period under item 9 of the General Terms and Conditions.

11.2. The Organizer is not liable for injuries, losses, thefts and/or damages to the Participant's personal belongings that occurred during the Event, as well as for all damages - property and non-property, that may be suffered by third parties, in connection with and on the occasion of participation in the Event.

11.3. In the event of termination of relations between the Participant and the Organizer for various reasons, the Organizer is not liable for damages suffered and lost profits for the Participant or third parties that occurred as a result of the termination of the Participant's registration.

  

 

12. Postponement or cancellation of the event.

The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event, in which case it undertakes to indicate another date, as well as the conditions under which the Event will be held within a reasonable period of time. Participants reserve the right to inform the Organizer whether they wish to participate in the newly scheduled event within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the relevant notification. Otherwise, the Organizer will consider the registrations confirmed under the new conditions.

13. Other conditions.

13.1. The General Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time by the Organizer, and all amendments and supplements shall enter into force upon their publication on the Organizer's website.

13.2. The Organizer reserves the right to change the program, lecturers and hours of the lectures themselves at any time.

13.3. For cases not described in these General Terms and Conditions, the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria shall apply.

13.4. All terms and conditions are also valid for the in-person event, with the Organizer reserving the right to change the terms and conditions with a view to ticket registration and other organizational issues within 30 days prior to the event.

These General Terms and Conditions have been approved by "DR RUSEV EDUCATION" EOOD, in its capacity as the Organizer of the Event, and shall enter into force on 01.01.2025.
